BayRaider Build Update
« on: 31 Aug 2007, 08:15 »
Hello,

This month saw BayRaiders number 3 and 4 finished and handed over to their customers. Look out for one on her mooring in Padstow, and the other being sailed in the Solent.
We have a pair of Trouper 12's to build now, and another pair of BayRaiders to fit in before Christmas.

Many of you know already that we have decided to start work on tooling for a GRP BayRaider. This is primarily to satisfy demand, and the wood epoxy boat will continue to be available as the lighter, sportier alternative.
However, we have had a number of enquiries for a moulded epoxy rather than polyester boat which will be closer to the Epoxy Ply weight, and have improved longevity over polyester. Prices are still being confirmed but please let us know if you are interestd.
We have a year long order book for the Epoxy Ply BayRaiders and SeaRaiders at present, so ordering a GRP or GRE (Glass-fibre Reinforced Epoxy - ok, I just made that up but it sounds fine) boat is the only way new customers can be afloat next summer...
Please email me for more information.
Best wishes,
Matt
