Thanfully, unless anyone can correct me, I am not aware of anyone having practical experience with a BRe capsize. The BRe shares the BR20's inherently stable hull and I feel (hopefully justifiably) that I would have to be pushing the boat very hard and/or unlucky to capsize. The cabin should help the ability to right from a knock down and hence I always ensure the washboards are fitted when sailing on lumpy seas. When I bought my BRe, which was one of the first, Matt (at SwallowBoats) mentioned he was doing a capsize test as part (I think) of the RCD certification. So this is probably a question for Matt...
