This is probably blindingly obvious to most of you but the now standard Hyde mizzen and jib sails come with a UV sacrificial strip. This means that it matters which way around you furl them. On my BR20, it should be clockwise on the jib and anti-clockwise on the mizzen. A sailmaker pointed out that I had been doing it the wrong way round. I previously had Dolphin sails and as they didn't have UV strips, it didn't matter which way around they were furled.
