Hello All,
What a great few days, shame about the conditions but on the plus side, I think we all learnt a bit more about our boats and ourselves on the afternoon of the first day!
I have sorted the best of my photos and have put them into a google photo thingy. You shoudl be able to see and comment on them here:
https://goo.gl/photos/opPUwu4p6ZVnXufq6

If anyone would like a high res version, click on it, then right click on it and it and click "save image as". That should then tell you the file name (starts with DSCF...). email me that name and I can send you the high res version.

On second thoughts, email Lara@swallowyachts.com for a prompt reply!
Best wishes,
Matt

Thanks for the photos Matt, they are great.
Thanks also to everyone involved in organising and taking part in the Mylor Raid. It was wonderful to meet everyone and to enjoy sailing our BRe in the area.
This was our first raid but we will definitely be back next year  :)
Best wishes
Debbie (Hirondelle)

Well, I've finally got my photos of the Raid back from the Chemists* and put them on the web - you can view them at http://seatern.uk/raid2016/ and linked pages. Click on thumbnails for larger versions. Sorry to BobT that I didn't get more photos of "Escape" ...I blame the rib driver!

Many thanks to Helen and Chris and everyone else who were involved in the organisation... it was amazing how enjoyable three days of bad weather could be! And it was so good to meet everyone.

Cheers,
Peter

Just want to add my thanks to all the organisers who made the raid so enjoyable despite the strong winds and also a big thank you to Matt and all at Swallow who are pulling the stops out to supply spare parts for Carpe Diem ready for the English Raid.  I have made note to self - no more shake down sails when gales are forecast!

best wishes to all,

Our thanks all round for an enjoyable (and exciting!) event:

- Helen, Laura, Matt, Nick, Chris and others for organising the event, venue, camping, meals and races
- Nick, Matt, Peter and others for keeping a watchful eye on our safety and, ahem, tows into the marina when the wind was too strong to row against.
- Everyone who took part for their good company and sporting tolerance of Gladys's racing enthusiasm. If our Sailing Master has his own boat next year I expect Gladys will resume her natural position towards the back of the fleet.

Great photos on the forum, thanks everyone.
