I like Jet Skis!
The cruising sort are great for burbling around fens and creeks , bird watching, fishing or snorkeling. Good in rough weather, too. They don't have to be ridden like rogue missiles! It's a great pity that the activities of mindless idiots have given the type a bad name , to the extent that they are banned from many areas altogether. Apart from irresponsible owners, I think we can blame the makers for their ridiculous water spouts and unnecessary noise. Yes, they are fast and can be a danger to others in the wrong hands but you don't ban cars from the streets because they are capable of breaking the speed limit. Impose sanctions the irresponsible driver, not the vehicle!
When I'm too old to sail I'm buying a jet ski !
