Fittng a Spray Hood to BRe
« on: 09 Jan 2021, 21:00 »
Primarily due to "COVID issues", I've ordered a spray hood from Swallow which I will need to fit DIY.
I could forsee no possibility of getting the boat to Wales (and, perhaps, of being sure I would be able to get it home again!) over this past year, regardless of cost or timescales.

They have been very helpful with fitting advice, and some photos, for which I am very grateful.

I do have a "tame" local sailmaker who can help if needed, but he didn't want to get involved in manufacture. Getting the bars profiled would be very difficult at the moment.

Has anyone on here already done this job DIY, or perhaps have any advice please?

It can't be that hard, can it? ??
