Christmas Presents
« on: 09 Nov 2010, 15:45 »
Let's start a list of really useful Christmas presents for Raiders and Swallowboaters.:

1. HANDPRESSO - Handpumped mobile Espresso Machine. Makes superb 16 bar espresso, yet fits into a small pouch. Just add hot water and a standard E.S.E. coffee pad, and press a button.

Wow.
Could you connect it to the ballast tank and use it to rapidly blow the water out? Every boat gadget should have at least two uses!

Is the 'Leery' look before or after a sniffter?

Personally on matters of navy Rum ,I'm minded to go for 'Woods'(100%proof). better make that no 12! :)

Sorry, I completely forgot.

So, its
12. WOODS Rum
13. BAYRAIDER

And realising there is fair interest here in highly flammable liquids, I have another useful suggestion,

14. COLLAPSIBLE TELESCOPIC STAINLESS STEEL CUP : This acid-proof telescopic cup is 4.5cm in diameter at the lip. That's a useful size considering how small it will fold away. This is another collapsible beaker that's perfect for travelling and outdoor events. There's even a spring loaded clip for attaching to belt or keyring to prevent loss.
Can be engraved
£13.95

Hi, Gerald
Point one.   Not 'before' or 'after' but During.......or did you think I normally wear that getup?
Point two.   Pussers Blue Label is one hundred and nine percent proof. Rich Geezers use it to get the Seagull started on damp mornings.

Hi, Claus

I like the cup idea but dont really have Boat Space for something else (like me)likely to collapse in moments of crisis!
Beats the Hell out of my usual plastic mug. Things do taste better from an appropriate utensil.

I once was presented with a bottle of the 'Blue label',once I got my tastebuds around it,did share it ,after I had taken the precaution of decanting some!

Could never afford the mortgage for the 'Pussers',and I would never be rich enough to feed the seagulls with it.

The Eyes become strangly focused when you have had too much of Nelsons Blood. I note that your vision was not as yet impaired!

Latest Hi-Tech gadget for cold weather sailors. Comes complete with Arran Fisherman's sweater. I wonder if it's available in natural oiled wool?

16. GALLEY BOX - http://www.aluminium-boxes.co.uk/aluminium-box-small.html
Fits neatly into the BR stowage compartments. Lid serves as windshield. When taken ashore it can be used as stool too.
