Clem,

Thanks for reporting this. I upgraded Wordpress (the web site software) at the weekend and that overwrote a change I had made to the logon/logout process; I had documented this change so I would remember to reinstate the change after any upgrade, but of course I forgot.

It is now fixed...

What's the problem you've found with the search? I just tried a search and it worked fine but let me know the problem you've got and I'll take another look

False alarm, I was using the search box instead of the search text.

Jonathan, a minor issue but the timestamp on posts is out by just over an hour.  Presumably because the internal clock on the server needs adjusting.  This was posted at 10.03 pm - compare with the recorded timestamp.

Or perhaps, like the tide tables, we run on GMT?

Hi Jonathan

Sorry, me popping up again. I've had a query from someone who wants to join in on the forum*, not a previous or present member, who doesn't know how to go about it and can't work out how to sign on for the first time and become a member. I can't work it out either, and it does seem to have got buried in all the subsequent learned discussion. Could you recap please. Thanks. Hope it may help others.

Michael

Michael & Robin,

This is what you need to do to register:

1. On the http://www.swallowyachtsassociation.org home page, click the Register link under the Username/Password boxes on the right side of the screen. See attached screenshot.

2. Next you need to accept the term of use. Scroll down on this page and click the button called "I accept the terms of the agreement".

3. Now enter your details and click the "Register" button.

Let me know if you anything clarified further.

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan and Michael

At last we have managed to login successfully, the email did not arrive yesterday so I used another email address and it arrived immediately.

I look forward to adding to the discussions about the junk rig and the Bay Cruiser 20.

I have just received the latest copy of 'Wooden Boat' with the long article on Swallow Boats.
