Yes I agree the new version of the forum looks good. Well done Jonathan.

It has the advantage of being simply an improved version of what we already have, without any of the annoying glitches and without introducing any of the negative issues that have been raised in this forum that might have put some people off. Also, as the new forum has Swallow Boats approval I do hope everyone will be persuaded that the new forum is worth supporting.

Graham,

Yes! The new site is pretty much ready to go. In order to keep the full history of posts, private messages, attachments, etc, I didn't want to change the forum software, but more work was required to make Simple Machines Forum integrate with the web site software (Wordpress). That now looks to be working properly so we should be doing the switchover later this week. I will create a new topic about this so that everyone is sure to see it.
