Deckvest 275 is ideal for ‘continuous wear’ commercial marine applications where current 275N lifejackets impede efficient working and cause unnecessary fatigue (due to poor design, weight distribution and fit).
The size and bulk of twin bladders and inflation required for SOLAS certified lifejackets systems make them unsuitable for everyday wear. In many cases, the more practical option may be to wear the 275N lifejacket for their greater comfort, fit and ease of adjustment, while complying with regulations by carrying SOLAS spec. lifejackets aboard in case of abandon ship.
