Last winter I discovered unexpected rot at the fore end of the club boom of my 2017 BRe. I suspect water might have been caught by the stainless steel plate underneath and become trapped in the forestay U bolt holes. Photos show rot and my replacement. I made sure of plenty of sealant around the plates.
