Title: Removing centre plate on ply/epoxy BR17

Advice on procedure for removing centre plate for maintenance/overhaul, please. Boat currently on trailer, do I need to lift boat to effect withdrawal? What do I need to undo and in what order? Many thanks

Advice from small wooden boat builders off this forum suggests first disable the up haul then turn the boat over, wedge the centre board open, remove swivel pin. Lift up board through hull.
Anyone ever used this method?
I’ll be doing this next week and will post result.
