Title: Swallow Yacht enters Fastnet Race
Post by: Peter Taylor on 04 Aug 2019, 05:15
Spot the Swallow Yacht in this photo taken from Lepe Country Park on Saturday 3rd August. Clue: it's not the one with "Macif" on the sail... even if Matt is designing go-faster boats nowadays! For more photos of race competitors passing the new National Coastwatch station at Stone Point go to https://calshot.wordpress.com .

Well i am surprised. The BC23 is Liberty Belle on its way to Weymouth via Poole. My wife & I spent the evening in Cowes wishing some friends of ours (who really did take part in the Fastnet) the very best. We set off a wee while before their start gun & they only just caught us (not).
Cant get away with anything these days. Rgds. Al & Jill
