We're taking Emily up to Rutland tomorrow (Sat 2nd April). Probably won't be there until 11, so on the water 12-ish.
We'll be sailing from the North shore. Does anyone else fancy it?

Would have loved to have met you there Anthony.
But I'm working away in foreign (and, I understand, much warmer) climes at the moment.
Did you see 'Equinox' on the right hand boat park as you drove in? Hard to miss - red hull. Was she ok?
Hope you had a good day out - maybe sail another time soon...

Yes we did, and yes she was. Similar colours to Emily (but bigger, obviously). We took a few photos of Iris (BC26) out on the water.

Thanks Anthony.. that's reassuring.
Peter C and myself did have plans for a weekend start of season Swallow Boats 'Rally' this weekend, but that fell through due to work and other commitments .. Peter has been called for jury service - although I think they just caught up with him at last ...
But maybe a few ad hoc days of sailing in company can be arranged before I head off east back to the sea for the summer..?

Andy,
We are intending to have another sail up at Rutland before we go to Venice for the Velaraid. Yesterday was very last minute, we spotted some nice weather. We had a glorious afternoon on Rutland and the rain arrived just as we got to Peterborough on the way home.

And I'll be in the Uk for about a month prior to the 20th May..
Be great to meet up, and maybe get a few more out for a sail together?
If we post any dates up on this then others may want to come along.. Maybe over two days..?
Regards
