Title: Norfolk
Post by: BobT on 14 Aug 2015, 17:22
I'm on holiday in Morston (N Norfolk) week of 31 Aug with my BRe "Escape" anyone in the local area fancy meeting up somewhere on the coast (or Broads) for a sail? I know Blakeney Pit well (but not beyond The Point) so would be keen to be introduced to other sailing/cruising areas.
Regards to all

Couldn't let the post go without a reply, even if it was myself! Great week of mixed weather (photos full sail and full main reef). I sailed from Morston, sadly not venturing further afield.  The week included a day going out to Blakeney Point on the ebb tide in the morning and then heading back in on the rising tide in the evening.  As you can see from one of the photos we had 4 generations of the family on board.
Still learning lots about "Escape" but one that I was not so conscious of when in dinghies is having the right amount of sail for the wind makes life much easier and just as fast.
Regards to you all,
Bob
