BC23 owners
« on: 21 Mar 2022, 16:27 »
Is there a BC23 owner in the southwest of England who would consider lending a suit of sails to Highwater sailmakers in Plymouth for a day or two?

Hyde cannot get cream sailcloth due to supply problems for the better part of a year.
As a result I am having to use a sailmaker who is new to Swallow, but has cream cloth, to make up the sails for my new BC23. I have chosen Highwater because they are local to me (in case of tweaks) and have the right weight cream cloth.

Matt is understandably concerned about a new sailmaker getting all the details like sizes of cringles and slides correct, so having a set to match would be ideal.

Please let me know if you can lend a suit to Highwater so they get things right.
Thank you,
Mark
