'CRAIC' SeaRaider No1 for Sale.
« on: 20 Mar 2023, 19:02 »
The legendary 'CraiC' 2006 is the prototype and forerunner of Swallow Yachts  whole range of water ballasted, self righting series of Raid boats.

She has performed with great success at Sail Caledonia, Raid England, Swallow Yachts Raids and has proven to be hard to beat, yet her sea worthiness is evidenced by being cruised single handed.

Her light wood/epoxy construction makes her exceptionally easy to handle both on and off the water. Towing, rowing, sailing, motoring or any combination of these, she is a pleasure to handle. Her combined unbraked trailer weight including all gear, outboard and fuel is under 600kg. She has been towed the length and breadth of the UK effortlessly by my Skoda Yeti 1.4 petrol over the past 6 years.

She will be sold complete ready for immediate use with sails, sheets, oars, anchor and fenders. Including German certified 'Ohlmeier' M750 trailer 2006, Honda 2.3 HP outboard, Garmin Echomap UHD 65CV chart plotter/sonar preloaded with offshore, coastal and inland waterways UK and Northern Europe, Navionics data,
battery, charger, and overall tarpaulin cover.

She has been well cared for by her original owner, Claus, who commissioned her design, and subsequently sailed by me. She has been completely repaired, refitted, with new standing and running rigging, repainted, and revarnished in 2022 by Swallow Yachts to appear as new. Trailer wheels powder coated and new tyres 2022. She has stood the test of time, performed successfully and flawlessly.

The asking price of £20k reflects her pedigree and the cost of work by Swallow Yachts to maintain her in pristine condition for future use. For more details and photographs please contact Matt Newland or Michelle at Swallow Yachts where she may be inspected.

I shall be happy to provide further information on request.
