Storm 17
« on: 02 Sep 2013, 23:19 »
Greetings:
After a long layoff, my son and I have resumed building our Storm 17 from a kit we bought several years ago. We are getting ready to install the keel and cut the hole for the centerboard case. Unfortunately, the tape and epoxy have obscured the siting holes.  I am hoping an owner of Storm 17 can tell me the distance between the forward and aft bulkheads and the edge of the centerboard case.
Thanks,
Terence Pare,

Unfortunately mines afloat so difficult to measure. You could try shining a bright light on one side whilst looking from the other. May be able to spot where the notches are.

Hi Terence
Do you have a copy of the scale plans for the Storm 17?
If Clem's idea doesn't work then you can easily work out the measurements you need by scaling up from the plans.
Happy to email them if you don't have copies
