Front Tank Bailers
« on: 24 Jul 2014, 08:41 »
On my BR 20 GRP the forward tank auto bailers leak quite badly, i can no longer sail with  an empty tank as with everything closed she slowly fills. Forgetting to close the bailers prior to launch a few times and the bailer gets caught on the roller being the culprit i think for damaging the bailer auto flap and the body where it seats.

So i was thinking of removing the bailers and putting blanking plates in there place, then installing a screw drain plug to facilitate emptying the tanks when out of the water .

The plugs found to date don,t seem to fit the bill, they need to have the external part as flush as possible to the blanking plate and the screw plug in fitting part available inside the tank. Has anyone seen a product i could use or have a better suggestion.
