Amy Eleanor under cover
« on: 28 Jan 2015, 11:07 »
The clew to getting the new cover on was to ensure the "maker's name" was at the bow. This is a heavy cover to lug around single handed.

There seems to be a lot of material about and the a light goes on. This is not just any cover it's a Swallow Boats cover.

It's brass monkeys in Geordieland at present but yes I am only wearing a shirt and trousers. If it gets colder, I may put on socks. That is my excuse for the wobbly fitting of the cover.

With the mast gallows as supplied and a windsurfer mast I had to hand, the cover provides excellent access to the boat and there is no way water can gather as is often the case.

My main concern is that, as the cover does not appear to be of a breathable material, condensation may accumulate underneath. Findings to follow.

ps You still can't see what colour she is.
