I looked at the original Swallowboats BayRaider bed insert which doubles as a table, whether I could copy that. I soon decided I couldn't, it's too clever.
So I improvised a bit.
1. To build a bed insert is simple enough, just a piece of plywood. Cut in two, with hinges underneath, so it folds.
2. Then I found this little folding teakwood table in the house, 'handbag' design. I made some cutouts to the legs.
3. Thus, that table now 'rides' on the Centreboard case top.
4. For a larger tabletop, I can put the bed insert on top of it.
5. When not in use, it all fits nicely into the stowage compartment.
