Andy,

Congratulations on a first sail (and with the weather), you have done better than me : I collected my BR back in may and I have still not managed to sail her, Doh!

best wishes

Andy
Your photo brought back many happy memories as I used to have a trailer sailer on a mooring in Sharrow bay ( the next bay  N. East to Howtown Bay).
Have you visited the small lagoon across the lake from Glenridding?
I hope to take Iona, our Storm 15 for a day sail on Ullswater this week.

Hi Terry,

I've had a  Jeanneau Tonic23 on Ullswater for about 12 yrs, I know the lake well but never really had the opportunity to explore the shallow bits or land on the beaches etc, I'll be on the lake this coming weekend weather permitting,  I'll look out for the lagoon.

Cheers

Andy
