shed for BRe
« on: 02 Sep 2023, 07:52 »
Dear forum community
I have a BRe 21 on a CLC trailer and would like to know what is the smallest shed size to put the trailer with loaded boat in.
Width, height and length?
Where do you store your boat in winter?
The photo shows the winter storage in the first year.

Greetings Tobias

I raise my mast up on a support in the mizzen socket and then use this as a ridge pole for two substantial tarpaulins with lots of string! Chafe pads necessary on the mast fittings to prevent damage to the tarpaulins; also need to remove your spray hood. I would love to have a shed big enough to fit her in, primarily to allow working on her over winter - but can't afford this.

Thank you for the posts.

Perhaps I did not express myself precisely enough.
Last half winter the boat was in the garden. This year I would like to bild a shed. I would love to have a shed big enough to fit her in, primarily to allow working on her over winter.

How big should the shed be so that everything has room?
