I wanted to share recent experiences with trailer manufacturers and companies that put brakes on unbraked trailers. I own a Snipe trailer and when I contacted them to put brakes on the trailer they tried instead to sell me a new heavier trailer and refused to give me any measurements and specs for the trailer I owned.
They were un co-operative.
However on the recommendation of a Swallow forum member I contact Wessex Trailers who were easy to deal with and did the job on time and in budget in spite of difficulties in sourcing materials.
