Bayraider.
I opened a few of the hatches to the watertight compartments the other day, and found water inside. I believe there are water present also under the sole tank....(in cavities?).
The presence of water in these tanks is not a big supprise. But I started worrying about the winter layup with temperature conditions below zoro and the danger of ice freezing between the outer hull and the inner lining / under the sole watertank / inner lining.
(I live in Norway..)
As most people know freezing ice expands a little bit compared to liquid water, and produces a signinficant force that may - over time - seperate the soletank from the outer hull??
Any comments - do I have to find myself a frost free winterlay-up for the Bayraider ?
